Max is proud of his picture books. He wants you to know that he ships the books to anywhere in the continental United States without a freight charge. It is built into the price of the book. There is also no tax added as it is also built into the price.
Max knows that many times his books are purchased as a gift for a young boy or girl. He wants you to know that he has left his paw print on every book, and his dad has signed every book. Max Makes Pancakes had me laughing out loud. It was a brilliantly inventive portrayal of the whimsical mischief we imagine our dogs getting up to while we are away. My favorite part was when he used his paw to stir the batter. Who knew dogs loved pancakes so much?!

In "Max A Firehouse Dog" author Allen McCaulley leads us on yet another adventure with our whimsical friend, Max the Dog. While Max and his pesky squirrel buddy, Yellow Belly, are playing in the backyard they discover that the neighbor's house is on fire. But what can a dog and a squirrel do to help? Plenty.
This story takes the reader on a journey of unbridled encouragement while moving with Max from his questioning of "What can I do?" to an attitude of "He knew he could, so he did!"
And what might Max do next? Only time can tell as Author Allen McCaulley once again leaves the reader ready to hear more about the adventures of Max.
